Solar Battery Storage

Battery storage is exactly as it sounds, it gives you the ability to store the power produced by your solar panels to use later, meaning you can benefit from your solar panel installation in the evenings if you aren’t home all day. 

You can choose to add battery storage at a later date, but bear in mind the current incentive for 0% VAT on solar panels also includes battery storage if you get the panels and battery together, investing in battery storage at a later date means you have to pay 20% VAT on the battery storage system, so it is more cost-effective to get both done at the same time with the current incentive.
